Information we collect

When you use the vet finder form on our site, we collect your name, phone number, ZIP code, and pet type to connect you with local veterinary services. When you use the ZIP code search on our find-a-vet or adoption pages, your search opens Google Maps or Petfinder directly — we do not log or store your ZIP code search queries. We also collect standard website analytics data through Google Analytics 4 including pages visited, time on site, and general location data. We do not collect payment information of any kind.

How we use your information

We use contact information submitted through our vet finder form solely to connect you with local veterinary services in your area. We use analytics data to understand how visitors use our site and improve our content. We do not use your information for automated decision making or profiling.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your contact information with advertisers. When you click through to an affiliate partner such as PetInsurer, Trupanion, Fetch, Chewy, BarkBox, or Embark, you leave our site and their privacy policy applies. We earn referral fees from these partners when you make a purchase — this does not affect your price or your privacy.

Cookies and tracking

Our site uses Google Analytics 4 which sets cookies to track aggregate visitor behavior. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels from social media platforms. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Data retention

Contact information submitted through our vet finder form is retained for up to 90 days and then deleted. Google Analytics data is retained according to our GA4 settings which are set to the minimum available retention period. You may request deletion of any personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing help@elitemediagroup.io.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and opt out of any future communications from us.
